I would just like to say thank you for your wonderful blog! I am in my last year of studying my Masters degree in Primary Teaching, and I have found your blog SO informative and helpful in constructing lesson plans, both for my assessments and for my prac. I will definitely stay tuned :)

I just wanted to say WOW! I just found your blog and I am reading your posts thinking- hey! That's exactly how *I* feel! I am 24 and currently studying ECT via correspondence, after completing the first 3/4 of an early childhood studies degree face to face. I also have a cert 3, and 2 kids (aged nearly 3 and nearly 1).

I am so glad there are others out there with a passion for early childhood! Even at uni I felt like a bit of outsider because I actually wanted to do early childhood- not primary. Keep up the great work, I will also add you to my blog list :)

Hi!
I came across your webiste because I am always scanning for people who are writing about and working in early literacy. I sell a fair trade product that supports early literacy.

I import crafts from bolivia and the artisans I work with developed a story bag that I named 3 Bags Full Finger Puppet Pouches. The pouche is knit carrying bag with 8 knit animal finger puppets in each bag. the bag has a scene painted on the front and the puppets can be snapped into the scene. So the bag doubles as a story board. There are 6 themes--farm, arctic, jungle, garden, ocean and woods. Each set comes with a list of storybooks that can be used with the bag.
Actually there are some Aussie bloggers who have shown and interest in the product!! I wonder if you would take a look at my website and give me some feedback.

my website and 3 bags full fan page on facebook have great photos and the list of story books. Sue

Hi Miss Carly
Just thought I would leave you a little note to say hi. I jsut found your blog via helloowl and I must say it got me a little excited. I also have my diploma and I am working toward my Bach of Teaching (0-5) via correspondance thru Charles Sturt. I am 23 and I work full time in a council based centre.
I am new to the blog thing but was excited to find you - some one young and also passionate about the early childhood field. (I am sure there are heaps of us out there.:))
Any way I plan on adding your blog to my regular reads and I look forward to leaving a comment or two as well.
Thanks
Tameeka :)
