I love Lego and so when I was contacted about hosting a giveaway I jumped at the chance.
So this afternoon, because I am currently off work due to hurting my tailbone, I spent making the entire Lego Space City!
After three hours it was all finished, I think I had a few breaks in there.

I must take my hat off to Lego because they have really great and simple instructions and even the bags are numbered in the bigger boxes. While I made the two smaller boxes in an hour the other two took an hour each.
The only thing I didn’t like, because well I think you all should know, is that there is no door in the space shuttle. Okay, so maybe there isn’t meant to be one, but I was just a little concerned for Mr Lego Man. Oh and you simply must look at all the Lego men/woman’s faces. Some made me have serious giggles.
I know, enough about me blabbing on about how much fun I had this afternoon, you want to know about the giveaway!
I have two Space City Lego packs to giveaway valued at $279.96 each. What do you get in your pack?
A Satellite Launch Pad; Space Shuttle; Space Moon Buggy; and a Space Centre!
Yes, four things all to yourself [or your children!]
Everything has an age range 5-12 years and there is super tiny things that babies can swallow so I would definitely stick with 5 years and up.

If I were going to the moon I would have to take my two children. There is nothing else in this world that I couldnt live without.
I am writing this on behalf of my son, Ben, who is a major lego fan. He was very excited to see your prize.
He would take plenty of oxygen, a space shuttle with a few of his friends – Moon party
Awesome giveaway!
Who can beat taking your children! If I went to the moon I would take (besides my 2 boys) a bucket of gloop (lux flakes and water) just to see what funky shapes the atmosphere made.
:)
Crackers & wine – well, the moon is made of cheese right?? ;)
Wow what a fantastic prize! 3 boys in my house would be “over the moon” with this one.
I would have to take my dog (can’t stand leaving him alone) and my kids are constantly glued to me so leaving them behind wouldn’t be an option.
Miss 4 says” I would take all of my bed family (teddies) as I need someone to protect me in the night and sleep with.”
She just got her first lego this week and is very excited at how the space lego looks. She is worried that most lego is just for boys :(
Oh my goodness, this would be PERFECT for my classroom!!!!
If I was headed for the moon, I’d have to take Oscar-cat, the fiancé & my iPhone. Seriously, I’d be LOST without the internet!!!
Apart from taking my children if I went to the moon, I would definitely take my amazing husband because no doubt I would get lost on the way….
I asked my nearly 5 year old what he would take to the moon and he said “I would take Buzz Lightyear because he flies and has a laser. He can fly where ever he can go and I can go too. He doesn’t have a Mum and Dad, just Woody!!”
Now he is continuing to ask me how we are going to go to the moon!! Lol. Another 30 minute conversation coming up :)
I would take my family day care kids who believe the moon is made of cheese according to our mouse story.( And so they could test their rocket packs which are their school bags in disguise)
my 6 year old son, he would think that would be ‘awesome’ – but he’d settle for a space city lego pack instead. I can just imagine his face!
I would totally take tampons because for sure it would be during a moon visit that my period would hit and I don’t think they have tampon vending machines on the moon… yet.
I’d take my mum and my dad, because life is to short to travel alone and my parents are seriously my ‘other brains’ and to satisfy their needs I’d take oxygen, plenty of chocolate for mum and beer for dad. But for me, it’d be space food bars; those horrible ‘food’ bars just to stay in character with being a space cadet!
I would have to take “my home” as it has everything I need in it :)
Awesome space Lego.
If I were to go to the moon I would want to take some dress up clothes and a camera! What a great backdrop space would be for some dramatic play photos! I would want to capture the moment & share with the kids :)
Alec (5) says he would take his lego men because he can’t go anywhere without them :)
Lachlan (8) says he would take tools in case something breaks and he needs to fix it, lego in case he needs to build something, food, lots of water and batteries.
Awesome give away!
I would definatley take a telescope so that i could sneak a peek at earth :)
If I was going to the moon i would bring my two boys cause i want to be able to show them the world.
I would take a bottle of clag and some cardboard so I could do a collage of treasures found and my family as I would be lost with out them.
I’d take my ipad2 if I had one that is !
Otherwise how would I tell everyone I am on the moon and take instagram pictures prove it.
My sons would love this.
I would take YOU! Because I can’t go to the moon and not have anyone to talk to.
I would also take my mac, the ipad, my iphone and i’d remember to take the charger too.
Oh, I almost forgot, i’d bring my lipgloss. Can’t meet any sexy astronauts with chapped lips!!
xoxo
I would take a cheese knife, some bikkies and a bottle of red! Oops! I’d also take my hubbie!!
If I were going to the moon, I would take my rock climbing gear. How many people can say they’ve been rock climbing on the moon??
I think I would take … a pair of pants, if I’m going to be floating around on the moon I don’t really think a skirt would be appropriate xo
I asked my Family Day Care kids what they would take to the moon, their answer was, ” a box to bring some moon sand back.”
Hi,
If we were going to the moon I would have to take lots of Chocolate as an offering to any Aliens we might met, then instead of underpants they could love chocolate just like us :)
Boring although this answer is I would take a video/still camera, so I could blog it for the world!
What a great prize! Well, seeing as I won’t fit all my friends and family on the spaceship, if I were to go to the moon, I would definitely take a camera! How else would I show earthlings what space is like?
If I went to the moon I would have to take . . . CHOCOLATE!!!! oh and my mobile phone so I can update my status with something like Genevieve Peden is on the moon and then I would “check in” and tag anyone else that manged to make it to the moon with me lol :)
If I was going to the moon I would take my own man .. who knows what that other ‘man in the moon’ looks like after thousands of years of being up there ;)
If I were going to the moon, I would take;
* obviously my family (husband, 5 yr old, 3 yr old sons and 3month old daughter..
* food coz my 3 yr old never stops eating
and of course ear muffs so I don’t have to answer a million questions and can enjoy the ride….
Ok, I’m being totally original cause I haven’t read all the other replies…..but I’d take my family. Couldn’t do that without them!
I would take an Australian flag so I could remove the American one and replace with our own :-)
My 5 year old said he would take toy story Lego and his puppy dogs. :)
my boys are nuts about lego – there isn’t a place in the house where I haven’t found lego, it’s in the dryer, under furniture and wedged under my feet – they would be beside themselves with excitement to have the space set. My boys love lego so much that I even have a pair of lego earrings just because it made me think of them.
So if I were going to the moon, I would take…………………………… a camera. And some champagne.
It’s not what I’d take but who. I’d take my beautiful 5 year old boy who is obsessed with everything to do with space. Every day he lives for outer space. He has astronaut costumes (three of them) I’ve just made him a space table tent, we’re always reading about space and the planets, he loves to watch documentaries about outer space and he’s always drawing space pictures. Just tonight he drew a picture of a rocket (I love it – its rainbow coloured) that he was going to fly to the moon. So yeah he’d be very upset if I went without him
oops I pressed submit before by mistake. I’d of course take my youngest brother. Although he’s not a huge space fan like his big brother there’s no way I’d leave him behind. And as the moon is made of cheese (lol) all I’d need to take are some crisps and some water to wash it down
