Goop.

I love goop. It would have to be the best thing to play with. Ever.

Now before you make it – have you little ones equipped in either old clothes OR have them with an apron and sleeves should be rolled up.

This one is messy.

To make goop all you need is cornflour [just grab the cheap no-name brand stuff] and water [from your taps - warm water is best]. Oh you can add food colouring if you’d like :)

Okay there is no measurements to this but id roughly say 3 packets of cornflour to 2-5 cups of water.

Now the consistency should be that you can slap the goop and none sticks to your hand; but when you slide your fingers in you can go right down and then your stuck (hehe); also if your really quick you should be able to roll a ball but be warned as soon as you stopped it slides through your fingers.

This is one of the best sensory activities for children. They love it.

They love to help make it – arm each child with a packed of cornflour or water and you mixing works best.

Once you’ve made it once you’ll be able to make it again and again and again.

Definitely an outside activity and have a bucket with warm soapy water and towel nearby unless you want them walking through the house (which i know you wont).

I say 3-5 year olds though some 2 year olds will love it too. You know your child best if they love water why not try this?

Most importantly, have fun!
